Helping inspire through self-reflection
Developmental Psychologist. Yoga & Meditation Teacher & Coach.
I began my journey toward self-development early on. That was one reason I started studying psychology. I wanted to conduct “me-search”, or learn more about human nature in order to better understand myself. In 2017, I earned a PhD in Applied Developmental Psychology, with a concentration in Health and Well-being throughout the Lifespan. My educational journey provided me with a wealth of knowledge on the ways in which we can change our thoughts and thus, our lives.
Throughout my time as a graduate student, yoga was a source of peace for me. I practiced as a way to multitask: exercise and de-stress simultaneously. But I received so much more in return. Regular engagement in yoga allowed me to experience firsthand what I had been researching, that my activities influenced my thoughts.
In 2019, I completed 200-hour training to become a Registered Yoga Teacher. I felt (and still feel) compelled to help others access the benefits that yoga has given me.
Additionally, my meditation practice has become a cornerstone of my well-being. Through consistent engagement, I have learned so much about myself and my path. Working with others as a meditation teacher and coach has felt like one of the truest elements of my calling to serve others in this lifetime.
With regular practice of yoga, meditation and writing, I continue the journey to develop myself, continue on my true path, and be the eye of the storm that life can create around us.
Above all else, I feel the need to offer my services to others. I hope that your work with me or use of my resources may resonate with you, so that you may create a space to bring about your own peace, strength and creativity.
